Ingredients:
1 box (9 oz.) Duncan Hines Snack Cake Mix (any flavor), baked and cooled according to package directions
1/2 cup Duncan Hines Creamy Home-Style Frosting (any flavor)
Makes:
48 – 1 tablespoon sized cake ball pops
(each about 1-1/4 in. diameter)
or 24 – 2 tablespoon sized cake ball pops
(each about 1-1/2 in. diameter)
or 16 – 3 tablespoon sized cake ball pops
(each about 1-3/4 in. diameter)
Instructions
step 1
In large bowl, use hands to crumble cake until no large chunks remain.

Add frosting and mix with fingers until well combined.

Form mixture into cake balls or press into shaped silicone molds.

Chill in refrigerator at least 2 hours. If using a silicone mold, carefully remove cake balls from mold.

In microwave-safe bowl, melt Duncan Hines Creamy Home-Style Frosting for 30 seconds on 50% power; stir to distribute heat evenly. Continue microwaving for 15 second intervals at 50% power until icing is warmed and thin. Dip one end of stick into icing and insert into chilled pop; let set. Wait until icing is firm before dipping the pop completely into melted frosting; gently shake off excess.

Add punch to your pops by blending some fantastic flavors into the mix!
Add 1/2 cup: mini candy-coated chocolates; white chocolate, mini chocolate or butterscotch chips; crushed chocolate or peanut butter sandwich cookies; crushed vanilla wafers or amaretto cookies; chopped peanuts or other favorite nuts; chopped apples or pears; raisins or dried cranberries.
Add 1 tablespoon orange or lemon zest; 1/3 cup mini cinnamon dots; 1/3 cup Rainbow Jimmies or other Sprinkles. Or, substitute 4 tablespoons of your favorite jam for 4 tablespoons of icing when mixing.
